ah okay thanks, Yea I have a friend who is a realtor but just don't want to keep bugging him :P curious about some recently sold property in an area and wish i could do it myself. How does the agent do it? Does the real estate license entitle them to log into a portal with this information?
yeah its in the same database that shows us all active properties as well. Once it changes to a sold status, it indicates the price it sold for.
Technically speaking, we are not really encouraged to advertise what properties have sold for..even if its our sale as these prices are a matter between buyers and sellers. Not that its a huge secret, but we can't assume that housing prices are subject to full exposure.
