ok, quick feedback. after installing the software, it ask me if i want to check for updates, so i did. it went from v3.x to 4.x. fine. did the calibration, and wow! not only are my two monitors identical now, but the tones are set so much warmer and richer, way off from what i thought they should be. once you're done recalibrating, there's a before/after switch. very dramatic change! besides the colour and tonal corrections, so happy to have identical/matching displays. i tried to manually do this and could never match them up like this, especially when using the dual monitor function in LightRoom 3 or having Photoshop open on one side and LR3 on the other. two thumbs up! :) |
Why would you want to return it??? |
i said that before i used it. |
...and now that you've used it, you can't return it. Hehe... See? It's totally worth the cost! Just re-calibrate on a regular basis, and remember that when editing photos, turn down the brightness. |
Ebay has the SPYDER 3 EXPRESS for under $100. |
