How much to import a car from the States

If I bought a WRX from Washington, I'm in vancouver island, how much should I expect if the car is around $8000?

Also, How much more is insurance on a WRX than a 2.5RS do you think?

I did, but I was thinking a different priced car would be different. I'll go read it again tho.
Any idea for the insurance?

Call a insurance broker and find out. There are many different variables that can change the premium

^ nice calc. theres this one also http://www.importcartocanada.info/to...ce-calculator/

that site also has a lot of useful info as well like the warranty check: "The car must either be returned to the U.S. for warranty repairs, or the owner can have the car repaired by a Subaru dealer in Canada, pay for it in full, and submit the bill to Subaru U.S. for re-imbursement."
