face color disorientation ?

apparently when i was young i used to sweat and it dried up so now there are white spots on my face, are their anyways to get rid of these? their just like dried white spots on the face, my doctor said it was because the sweat has a lot of bacteria and when it dried it there was fungus or something . My doctor told me to wash my face 2 times a day with soap for 3 months but thats a really long term thing . Is there any faster ways? thanks alot

Is your doctor a family doctor or dermatologist? Visiting the latter may give you better results.

+1 ask for a referral to a dermatologist. Family doctors really know nothing about skin.
