What notes would you like to compare? Which car would you like to see? I sold my 997 C2S Cab in 2009. She was a beauty - GT silver exterior, painted seatbacks, cocoa interior, brown top. Driving with an open top prematurely ages you and since I get by in life mostly by being easy on the eyes, I decided to sell it.

My job title is not generic. It's not like I'm CEO or anything, but it's very specific - specific enough that I'm not going to list it on a public forum.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not Hyde or RennSpport. I don't have an imaginary life, imaginary exotic cars or an imaginary job. You can do all the digging you want, but you're not going to come up with some smoking gun and say "see, I knew he was a fake".

I used to do that many years ago. Truth be told, I'm absolutely sick of the VW tuning community in the Lower Mainland. Everyone is basically related and prooably used to work together at a different shop at one point in time. One company splits and people go their own ways, then other people split and form new partnerships blah blah blah. It's always been the same people since day one, and I get sick of all the drama going on betweem the various shops, people whining saying they did all the work when they were with so-and-so and didn't get credit, blah blah blah, talking trash about others...

My switch to BMW wasn't because of anything to do with brand or that I'm a huge fan of BMW's now. I could do the same position with Audi or Mercedes. It's just that a position with BMW came up at an opportune time for me. I still like my VW's and Audi's.

As much as Marco and I have had our share of arguments in the past, I still have to admit that he is who he says he is. I don't get the connection that if someone says shit that pisses you off that it somehow equates to them being a fake or if they play games by posting "teaser" pics that it means they really don't own something. Hell, Marco even used to be a customer of ours at my previous job.

He's one of them. There are many, though Shawn has since expanded far beyond doing only VW/Audi stuff.



And for the umpteenth time, my username is "dangonay" not "Dangonay". How many times are people going to keep capitalizing it? :mad:

Here's a tidbit for iPhone owners. BMW will now have tethering support in iDrive coming very soon which will allow you to have internet access in your car and even run apps on the iDrive screen.

dangonay: what is a dangonay?

My wife is from the Phillippines. Her father's family owned a lot of land and were quite wealthy. Her dad was entitled to a significant share of the land/wealth when they were in the process of dividing it up (ther were only 3 brothers). When my wife was very young, her father died. The family long planned to move to the US, and had finally received their papers allowing them to move. They sold off all their land/properties and relocated en-masse to Los Angeles some 20+ years ago. My wife and their family literally woke up one day and everyone was gone right from under their noses. They took all the money from the land and didn't give a single penny to my wife's mother, who was entitled to the share her husband would have received. The other brothers basically decided to keep his share as well. So out of the entire extended family, my wife, her mother and brothers/sisters were left behind with nothing while the others settled in California.

dangonay is their primary family name. Initially we used the name sort of as a big "fuck you" to the family. I have dangonay.com and some other domains with their family names reserved. We also have pretty much all the hotmail.com, live.com, gmail and other common services using their names.

My wife and I are putting together a complete history showing what actually happened and she has tracked everyone in the family to various locations in California. Once everything is done, we are going to publilsh the websites to all their "family" domains. Imagine seeing a website called "yourrealname.com" and seeing all your family's personal details (and shady history) out there for everyone to see?

dangonay just sort of stuck since it was unique and I decided to keep using the name.

And all this time, I had always read your name as "dragonay". LoL

I used to think it was his real name (Dan Gonay) and PM'd him as Dan... :blushsmile:

You have yet to prove you have two Porsches... random iPhone pics of a Porsche in the street does not proof make. I could post pics of my Escalade, Gallardo, Kenworth and G5, too.
