Should I buy a 1992 Honda Accord EX-R sedan or a 1994 Mazda MX-6 LS?

I'm interested in buying an automatic 1992 Honda Accord EX-R sedan with 150,000 Km or an automatic 1994 Mazda MX-6 LS with 90,000 Km. Both of the aforementioned cars have clean titles. What are the pros and cons to the aforementioned cars? Which of the aforementioned cars should I buy? and Why?

hk20000 01-16-2011 02:05 PM

hmmmm what are you looking for in the car? MX6 is a coupe and the Accord is either a coupe or a 4 door.

Either way the Honda would make a generally less painful old car owning experience if you haven't already gone down this path before. The Accord has a prone to fail automatic transmission though.

bingo!

my first car was a 90 accord exr, that thing was niiiice, the exr is the top of the line trim, mine was full leather interior, power everything...it was probably one of my most favorite cars ive ever owned, that car barely ever had any problems and it was cheap on gas!

jpark 01-16-2011 02:29 PM

i swear you made a thread asking the same thing like last year like dozens of time lol

MindBomber 01-16-2011 02:42 PM

All this and you still can't make up your mind about an EXR?

maybe op should just take the bus..

This is a car forum, I recommend a BMW M3 or Audi RS4. Both are great cars and excellent on both track and street.

My actual advice, just buy something and stop making so many threads...

I have a 93 ex-r with 39x,xxx Km. Need nothing except regular maintenance item.

+1 to exr. bullet proof.

only thing that could possibly go wrong is the rotor inside the distributor..

CorneringArtist 01-16-2011 08:41 PM

Naw man, you want the Nissan Vigor! :troll:

But I seriously like the Accord. Reliable, and pretty good on gas.

skylinergtr 01-16-2011 08:45 PM

+1 for the Accord EX-R.

I see plenty of them on the road today with 300+kms.

They just wont die!

awesome cars.

Neither. Go buy a tricycle and see how you like it. First hand experience is always nice. Maybe when you're older, you can install tassles. If you're feeling a bit daring, you should get multicolored tassles.
Once you've gotten the hang of the sidewalk, upgrade to a bicycle and put... A BASKET ON THE FRONT!

Nah, with this FWD, it grips like crazy!

but in OPs case, yours is good for him

spoon.ek9 01-16-2011 10:44 PM

^ wtf is the charlie brown t-shirt for?

OP, seriously now... how many more of these threads are you going to make? just buy a damn car already.

orange7 01-16-2011 11:26 PM

OP is so indecisive.

I'm gonna bet he won't be buying a car this year. Then next year, he will ask the same question.

1exotic 01-17-2011 12:47 AM

aforementioned

PJ 01-17-2011 07:19 AM

Judging by your indecisiveness and likeliness to keep second guessing, just save yourself a lot of stress and time and go with the Honda.

spoon.ek9 01-17-2011 08:00 AM

i disagree, buy both cars and find out for yourself :troll:
