I think 'fuck' is a perfect word that can be used in many situations. People just understand, plus almost everyone says it nowadays so it's not as vulgar as it would be before.

We spoil each other rotten but we both kind of went overboard for our birthdays/Christmas. We'll probably keep it pretty low key for Valentines day.

Of course every girl would love a $5,000 Chanel Bag, but being realistic, I highly doubt every guy would go and do that..
