It has not been officially released that she will be portraying the role of catwoman. It is all assumptions right now

i think it was speculation... at one point imdb said Leonardo Dicaprio was going to play the riddler.. which would be pretty crazy

Slightly off-topic, but if Johnny Depp was going to play ANY comic book character, I would say he would be perfect for Gambit.

As for Anne Hathaway being cast as Catwoman, I trust Nolan's instinct. He was able to see her play the role in her audition and she must have done a great job after winning his blessing. Keep in mind that Christian Bale is also a picky actor in whom he chooses to work with. Plus I can picture Hathaway fitting that role quite well.

I really don't mind who the hell gets cast as long as Christopher Nolan is in command.
