The part where all the people on the train don't even know what the heck just happened when the father sacrificed his son... I can totally understand the message.

I'd choose my son, even though I know ultimately what the less selfish thing to do is, I'd still go with my son.

Assuming we can laughably accept this story as a potential reality. Yes you are the only one for the following reasons; The boy might have died from the original headfirst fall down the hatch onto the steel girders and whatever other sharp industrial objects reside there. And how exactly do you think letting the 5 million ton locomotive pile into the section of the bridge the boy is trapped in equals saving your son? Also the father is a complete idiot for teaching the boy how the emergency release works or where it is in the first place. I am not a train expert, but I imagine everything in that video is a complete fabrication. As in, there is no hatch you have to dangle your body over to reach some emergency lever.

That said, there is a reason these videos appeal to the broad spectrum of morons in this world, and that's because they are willing to forgo basic logic in favor of emotions. They would prefer to accept the reality they are presented with instead of asking questions.

Yes, the video was powerful, but when you apply a little logic to it, its just a bunch of bullshit. Does he not have a train schedule? How did that scheduled train get so far ahead of schedule? Why didn't the boy run into the control booth and drop the bridge from there? Why is the control booth located on the bank hundreds of meters from the bridge it controls?

BTW when the fuk is that video supposed to take place? I don't even think the producers know. Half of it seemed like it was prior to the Hindenburg maiden voyage, then some chic is cooking down with a lighter and spoon. WTF.

I would never sacrifice my son for any body! People who say they would either have no kids or totally god loving bible freaks. Do half of you even know what it's like to rasie a child? Do you know what it's like to hold your baby boy when he's first born? Watch him take his first steps? Hear him call you daddy for the first time? Watch him go off to his first day of school? Give his baby sister a hug when she hurt herself? I would rather go to jail or kill myself then let my children suffer. I would sacrifice the world before I sacrifice my own child. Children are innocent they don't know the way of the world and they should be protected from the harsh realities for as long as possible. Let children be children and let the adults sort out the issues of the world. Did anyone else notice that there were no kids on the train?

Would any you guys sacrifice your wife of girlfriend in the same way? Would you kill your mother and father for people you didn't know? Would you be able to live with yourself? Are those people you saved going to be around to comfort you when you go crazy? I know I wouldn't, you know why? Cause I have emotions I'm not going to care as much for some total stranger that got killed because it wasn't my fault to begin with. But it would destroy me if I knew that I killed someone I love with my own hands. Self sacrifice is one thing but being the judge on who lives and who dies is another thing. Only moron's think they can make the right decision about life and death.

The father sacrifices his kids cause he thinks that choice will save more people in the long run. 1 life for 100's right? What if that child grew up and found the cure for cancer or aids? He could possible save the whole human race one day! Or he could be the second coming of baby jesus! That one child could possibly save billions of lives one day.


And what kind a moron takes his kids to a train station to play at while he's at work? Some people have no common sense as to what constitutes safe environment for there kids. Shit like that would never happen if parents knew how to put their kids first and not take them to work cause they got no where else to leave them.

Dude you totally missed the message. It's a bible thumper video basically saying God sacraficed his child for everyone else. LOL, you're so irrate but you totally missed the message. It's about the ultimate sacrafice not a biography of some bridge operator that let his kid for the greater good. Think a little deeper without all the emotion and it will make sense. :)

Lets start with what is completely wrong with this video.

1) Radio. Fucking use it and tell the train to dump the air and send the brakes into emergency.
2) Conductor and Engineer had an approach signal, followed by a stop. Their fault. They also should have seen the bridge was up and attempted to stop.
3) What the fuck is this? Take your kid to work year? Shouldn't he be in school, or you know, not around heavy equipment?

Too many big things wrong with this to make it "believable"
