The Spartacus series is supposed to be a semi-fictitious representation of the era. Even the plot was loosely based on actual historic facts.

And if you've studied any history outside of what stupid Greek and Roman asskissing highschool teachers tell you, you'd find out that the Greeks and the Romans were incredibly homo.

I'm aware of that.. I'm just saying that most people are watching for the tits and juice monkeys fucking each other up, just like how you watch 300 for the spartan kicks and juice monkeys running around chopping each other to shits.. I could be wrong though and maybe its just me.

It just doesn't do anything for me when I see Barca and his bum buddies making out and going down on each other. Straight up boner killer.

Don't get me wrong, the tits and the fighting/blood is awesome but I think the film makers wanted to stay true to some aspect of the society at that time. There are many things in the flim that are there to build some sort of authenticity such as the random flashing of tits from the female slaves. I think the barca homosexual stuff just stood out to you because it's not something you're accustomed to seeing

blood and sand was a pretty good series! dont know how gods of the arena will be with only half as many episodes.

into gods of the arena 3rd episode, there's too much "sex" in this series than blood and sand. the random titty flashes are good and the one sex scene every 3 episodes are as well, but in gods of the arena, there's a sexy scene in each episode ..

Maybe I don't remember correctly but I'm pretty sure Blood and Sand had more sex. Gods of Arena eps 3 only had the tits for like 30 sec in the beginning.

Tullius will ultimately take the fall for both deaths. That's the only way I can see them going at it because he's not mentioned in Blood/Sand so he must be dead.

shitty i only caught the last like 5 episodes of the first season, so once this is done i will have to go back and watch season 1
