My dad isn't paying. I am :)

And I had my pic up as my avatar for awhile but I changed it back to Kim K.
I thought about maybe getting an 03 range rover but right now I have an 06 sport and it just seems like a downgrade. Plus the range rover is a piece of crap talk is true.... One of my door never closes, the tailgate won't close and sometimes won't open my car always beeps at me for no reason... Fml

You probably wouldn't want the real leather....

Apart from the leather being more expensive, it also
- wears out quickly
- is more difficult and more expensive to maintain
- feels colder in winter/hotter in summer

Whereas the leatherette is easier to clean and maintain, although there is hardly any maintaining that needs to be done for it and it's good if you own pets.

I have the leatherette in my car and it feels great to me. People can’t even tell the difference. The leatherette in the BMW has a really high quality.

Mugen EvOlutioN 01-24-2011 07:59 PM

ugh the leatherette in the bmw is hard and rough as hell

everything you stated is true but if you opt for leather you'll find that it's softer and more comfortable. i had leatherette in my 335 and it was alright for what it was, but nothing special.

I guess the countless seat covers BMW is replacing because of cracking equals quality?

countless? where do you get your info?

jasonturbo 01-24-2011 08:36 PM

Dont buy a 335 unless it comes with a lifetime supply of fuel pumps.

kgatz 01-24-2011 08:50 PM

6 series. do it

Energy 01-24-2011 09:01 PM

328i sedans should be around your price range. That's probably the best choice when you factor in price, performance, and features.

There's an official recall on the pumps now. Also a recall on the fuel injectors which caused similar issues to the pumps (meaning if you had a pump replaced it might not have needed it). Now when a car comes in the pump is replaced and the injectors pulled to check serial numbers (yes they are unique). Some or all injectors will be replaced. Finally the car will get new software for the engine ECU.

525i > X3 > 323i on driving feel imo. Test drive them and decide for yourself. If I want to get a BMW sedan I'd go for a 328i or xi.

Get a Yota. Or a Volvo. I'm not biased at all.

HonestTea 01-24-2011 10:19 PM

2009 E90 328i manual 6 speed w/ Sports Package :)

RangeRover 01-24-2011 10:57 PM

2009 is way over my budget :( :(

I need like a 2007

So do you guys think I should go for a 2006 328i instead of a 2007 323i?

No such thing as a 2006 328i. 2006 had 325i and 2007 was first year they came out with 328i.

2006 325i is great and you will probably get it for the best price.
But like I said, SPORTS PACKAGE = MUST HAVE.

HonestTea 01-24-2011 11:23 PM

Try finding a 2006 330i w/ Sports Package, that would probably be your best bet.

GabAlmighty 01-24-2011 11:28 PM

S60R

Arash 01-24-2011 11:44 PM

These new BMW's all look the same... it'll be like going to a party and seeing other people with the same purse. :gayfight:
