Ferrari 458 Italia Gets Run Over Imagine having to endure a 12 to 18 month waiting list to finally get your hands on a brand new Ferrari 458 Italia supercar, only to have it crushed under the wheels of a Ford F-150 pickup truck. Well, that’s exactly what happened to the owner of this sorry looking Ferrari, which only had around 500 miles on the clock. The car reportedly belongs to the CEO of I-Pathology and was involved in the accident over the weekend in Brandon, Florida. While the crash is still being investigated, it’s thought that the driver of the 458 Italia was attempting to pass illegally across a double yellow line to get into a turning lane when it came into contact with the pickup. The good news, or the bad, whichever way you look at it, is that the car is likely to be repairable since the area damaged most is the trunk. |
hmm... nice rear wheel flex on the F150... |

I don't understand why they didn't drive the truck off? if I were the Ferrari owner, I would want that done ASAP as that would save the shocks. |

would be a sick FORD commercial. |
the damage is more expensive than the truck itself if it is the ford's fault, i hope he has insurance or else he's fucked |
lol '2 VELOCE' |
well, if the description is true... then.. ferrari crossin the double yellow line would make the ferrari at fault? hmm.. |
ouch. the ferarri will never be the same again. |
:fuuuuu: the Ford owner probably thought it was a real prancing horse and decided he needed to straddle it |
That will buff out |
I thought it was pretty funny since i read this yesterday " Ferrari christens new F1 car 'F150' by Zach Bowman (RSS feed) on Jan 25th, 2011 at 4:15PM Ferrari has announced that its next Formula One racing thoroughbred will wear the same moniker as the best-selling pickup on the planet when it debuts later this week. The Ferrari F150 is set to enjoy an unveiling ceremony in Maranello this Friday, and fans of the brand can watch live at Ferrari.com. The Prancing Horse landed on the model name as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Italy's unification, and as such, we're told to expect the country's tri-color flag to play a large role in the Formula One racer's livery. The front end looks pretty sick canned to the ground like that, shitty for the owner tho dang Posted via RS Mobile |
sucks. but the good thing is it should be repairable, looks like it just needs new front trunk and maybe bumper if there was any damage. |
Wow the truck doesnt look like its even damaged. |
Looks like the truck may have been turning left, so he may be at fault. |
Ouch hurts to see!! Hope it gets figured out whos at fault. Camera guy: Is that your favourite model? Ferrari Owner: C'mon isnt it everyones favourite model? Someone yells out "Not mine!" hahaha... Posted via RS Mobile |
I bet those hella-low guys started drooling over that stance. |
