Hah.

I Googled Cholo to post a pic.
That popped up first, so I figured, what the hell.

Insult a poor/3rd world country, expect a response back.

It's like calling a an ugly person "homely". Odds are, they will get insulted. Call a good looking person "ugly", they will just brush off the comment.

so you are saying that Mexico is offended, becasue what they said about mexicans is true?

hk20000 02-03-2011 12:31 PM

A comment that's obvious troll is obvious :troll:, you just get more butt-hurt coz it's generally conceived to be true.

Drow 02-03-2011 12:36 PM

it'd only hurt if it were true... hahahahhaha mexicans

^^ Could someone translate that to a sentence that makes more sense?

Ronin 02-03-2011 10:30 PM

I believe Chris Rock said something about this once. A shitty country can make fun of a good country all they want...but once a good one makes fun of a shitty country like Mexico...well, that's just mean.

He does go overboard but the entire show has been airing some questionable stuff lately that has pissed off viewers.

For example, the TG Christmas special was blasted when they showed baby Stig in place of baby Jesus. Seems like TG wants to push the envelope a bit and not be so politically correct but my question is where do you draw the line? It's a motoring show that airs all around the world so is there really a need to make fun of other cultures and countries? I guess this is debatable.

Meowjin 02-04-2011 02:27 AM

your not born a christian.

but you are born a mexican.

SkinnyPupp 02-04-2011 02:58 AM

Exactly. Making fun of religion is totally different from being racist cocks. In fact it should be encouraged.

Watching Season 10 again last night, and Jeremy was testing the E63 wagon.
His quote was funny.

StylinRed 02-04-2011 11:27 AM

dynamite 02-04-2011 11:32 AM

they mad cause its true

jameswift 02-04-2011 11:42 AM

One of the partners at the office also watches top gear. Interesting thing he mentioned is that Top Gear was talking about going off air and not continuing a year or so ago. I don't know if this was a rumor or not but I'm sure many of you remember that. The truth is, the show can't go on forever and they will likely have to pick a time at which to end the program just like all great shows.

Rather than end the show, perhaps the show will be ended for them. It's a long shot I know but I thought it was an interesting take on how to exit the series. You have to admit, they're pushing harder and harder in a time where more of us have to walk on eggshells.

That's because they are severely undercutting the competition. They get hired for lower wages and for cash jobs. Just another form of outsourcing driven by greed. That and the fact that Mexico is a shithole country and people don't know how to get out of there fast enough.
