February Photowalk Feb 11, 2011 - Illuminate Yaletown
 

That's right, I'm planning the next one already.

This months destination: Yaletown!
Why? Illuminate Yaletown is going down!

"Illuminate Yaletown brought talented artists to Yaletown’s heritage district in 2009 to showcase their craft and introduce Vancouver to contemporary, interactive light art."

Its a two night event taking place Feb 11 and 12th. I'm planning it for the 11th because the 12th will be the Olympic Anniversary day so that'll be a bunch of events in itself.

There's also a flickr pool for Illuminate Yaletown 2011 and also a photography contest they're putting on. http://www.flickr.com/groups/illuminate-yaletown/.

Time: 5:30pm (I believe the event starts at 5:59pm)
Meetup place: Roundhouse Skytrain station. There's a small courtyard area behind the station where we can meetup.

Bring your tripods. I missed the event last year during the Olympics and I don't wanna miss it again this year!
