I coined this generation, "the remix generation" a few years back on RS. Wasn't far off.
Everything old is new again <------ title to a song from way back. Being creative with stuff that was created ages ago, and often failing at it. Anyway..............

like 1930s a movie had a scene of holographic stuff
but now we actually have that stuff, does it make it a 'remix' of older generation?

No, it makes it a reality
idea to reality is not a remix
I'm all for remix, if there is an improvement of some kind from the original.
