Camera question...

k so i recently received one of these for a gift

http://bags.smartblogs.info/holiday-...ns-collection/

I'm totally not a camera guy, and i was like what a piece of crap but decided to go give it a try anyway, i bought some 400iso 35mm film and slapped it in.

ive been taking pics and then i realised it didnt have a battery inside. at first i was like oh whatever, the battery is just for the flash (right?)

I mean, it's a manual wind camera, i gotta wind it after every click. so... my question is... am i gonna develop a buncha blank pictures? LOL

It feels like a disposable camera, except it didnt come with film or a battery, and i can open up the back to put new film in if needed. DO I NEED A BATTERY?! i have this dreaded feeling that i wasted money on film. haha

Hmmmm....not sure. I've never seen one of those before, but my guess is that the battery is only used by the flash.

If you heard the shutter open/close and the film wind I doubt you'll get blank photos

thats one of those gifts you toss in the drawer and find 10 years later and chuck it out. i would rather have a throw away than that thing.
