wow origin sucks compared to steam...and I remember how much i disliked steam back in 2005

download and installed it yesterday, tried running it today and it said my install was screwed up so now I have to re-download it. Piece of trash.

i tried joining a server but nothing is happening anyway to solve this?

I googled around, and according to some random users, you need your OS totally updated, and some even needed IE9 and DX11 lol

I'm in the process of redownloading the beta since i forgot to check keep installer file, and I will have to upgrade SP1 and SP2 on my vista. Plenty of downloading tonight!

Don't use quick play, just pick the game from the server

Haven't been playing much because when the game comes out I have to redo all the unlocks... :'(

tried to play it and a lot of times the browser wouldnt load the webpage... just hangs @ a blank page


finally got to try it the other day it actually plays adequately on my current rig but i hardly got any time in and the client crashed -_-

The browser for searching for games and partying up is so fucking terrible.

what is rediculous about it is having to form a party AND THEN dragging + dropping friends in the party to a game, no way to directly invite?

The problem I'm having is I'll see my friend online, drag him into party. He'll join party, for him I'll show as offline. I'll try and take us into a game, join as party but it doesn't que him to click to join. We'll disband party and try and having him do the inviting and start the games but he can't invite me to party because I show as offline to him even though we can chat and everything.

If he joins a game I can join the same game by going to his profile but then most the time we don't end up in the same squad, pain in the ass.

ahh ic actually that was probably happening yesterday to me and a buddy as well, i couldnt figure out if he was just being stupid or there was another issue
