I know this isn't the same, but I have a mATX board with my 560Ti and my sound card right up against it. Taking the sound card away yielded a 14 degree cooler video card.

Has anyone else run into the case where they join a game, and Just get camper sniped everywhere? I'm actually having less fun playing the beta than bfbc2. Maybe it's different on pc, because on ps3 it's brutal.

netcode is definitely still an issue for me =\

I haven't really noticed a lot of sniper camping. I found that there was a lot more in BFBC2. At least in BF3 you have that shining reflection from the scope and you have a better idea of where the person is camping. In BFBC2, you really didn't have that.

Most of the games I played there were just a few snipers on either team and everyone else was actually playing and trying to complete the objectives.

You can't even sniper camp on that Caspian Border map or else you'll quickly get bored of staring at nothing. The map is HUGE and you'll have to actually play the objectives to have fun.

Isnt that shining reflection thing the flashlight(tactical light) add on?

I see a lot of noob snipers probably new to the game and they camp at the spawn points LOL

Anyone know the sweet spot for aiming at the flashlight?
I find it really hard to aim at the enemy because the light is way to fucking bright, especially in the tunnels

no its just the scope reflection, all guns have it.
if you see the reflection you better fucking run because that means they have aim on you lol

I just aim down the middle of it, if it's my teammate, they deserve bullets in the face too

PS3 got Operation Metro, so it's probably a lot smaller of a map. VERY linear, being a subway tunnel after the first set of objectives. Snipers just lay down, and watch as people come down the tracks... It's awful

PC has this only now as well. They used to have the Caspian Border map up for "testing" but they took it down a few days ago. Operation Metro sucks.

They should've just left it as one of the maps to play because that's really what the actual Battlefield franchise is about. 32 vs 32 on a huge ass map, with helicopters, jets, tanks, blowing shit up while defending/attacking objectives. Not some linear boring COD style map.

that's how i got kills lol. funny thing is, i was either crawling due to injury or some how proned without knowing b/c i was only able to move around by crawling so ppl would run past me so i just shot them LOL

but ya i'd be dying instantly without even knowing it. that didn't make the game enjoyable for me. but when i was able to run around and play it was fun
