Just got back from best buy langley, arrived a few minutes after 12. There had to be 80 people outside when I got there plus whatever they had in the store. Wasn't all that bad, took me about 35 minutes but next time I'll just show up at 12:45 and walk right in.

Meh, why choose I got it for both. I have some friends that only play console so why not.

i was a bit skeptical when i played the beta but i have to say the multiplayer in this is amazing. if anyone had any doubts when playing the beta, it feels completely like another game.

^ No, your username in game is your origin ID. so if you dont have an account on Origin, make one, that will be your Game ID, no chance of switching after that. Then you just register your cd key that d2d emails you into origin. And you can either donwload the game via origin or use d2d's download manager.

You can change your orgin user name using this link. Might take 15 to 30 min for it to change.

These stupid comments about console gaming really need to stop. Nott everyone here is a hardcore gamer. I'm a casual gamer, I can not justify spending $1000+ on a fucking gaming rig.

go console!

ScizzMoney 10-25-2011 03:12 AM

I'm gonna buy on both. So I can play on a good PC and so I can play with friends. Simple logic in my opinion.

mb_ 10-25-2011 05:07 AM

Buying mine for PC and brother is buying it for PS3 so it works out for me :P

Neva 10-25-2011 05:09 AM

hmm gotta leave for school in a couple hours, i should probably get some sleep...

tamazoid 10-25-2011 05:55 AM

Time for some sleep for me... lol

And I'm already seeing people ranked 19!

I have to say, multiplayer is vastly improved, its fun, chaotic and frentic.. there's still a few random bugs that show up from time to time, but everything feels much tighter now, and all the other maps I've played so far are huge improvements over metro. Thankfully I was wrong about bf3s multiplayer.

On the flip side: The singleplayer while it looks pretty I'm not all that impressed. Obviously you need scripted triggered events, but a lot of critical encounters really make it a point to funnel you down a specific path to achieve maximum cinematic quality. A lot of the scenes in singleplayer seem like they were there solely to create impressive trailers for the game. That being said its still pretty solid, just sometimes feels more like you're along for the ride than actively influencing the outcome of a situation.

Some people enjoy that
for example metal gear solid 4 single player felt like 1 hour gameplay 10 hours cinematics but it was awesome lol

Yeah I enjoyed mgs4s cinematic experience, but at least for me in the case of battlefield 3's singleplayer.. doesn't flow quite as nicely or naturally.. just feels too forced. But like I said its nit picking the multiplayer right now seems to be exactly what I was hoping for and most of the new multiplayer maps are amazing.

RacePace 10-25-2011 08:50 AM

Yeah FS. Check your online account page on their site, there's a "track your order" button.
