Is it me or does this engine bay look like a hackjob?....c'mon, they could have atleast made it look more MB standard without the cheap look-a-like ractive air canisters and home depot air ducts.

Mugen EvOlutioN 02-08-2011 11:12 AM

the budget all went towards the engine

The whole B55 thing isn't really that amazing especially knowing that it's a mercedes it probably won't be more reliable than what custom hot rodders have been doing with american econoboxes for years.

Please excuse my noobness-is the B class very different from the A class thats everywhere in Vancouver? I don't think I've ever seen a B class in locally?

good thing its a prototype, cuz no one in their right minds would buy this.

If a car has a Mercedes or BMW badge on it, people will buy it, in droves. :p

You've got them mixed up. The A class isn't even sold in Canada.

You're probably thinking of the Smart car. The A is not available in Canada or USA. If this is what you're thinking of, the seating position/space is quite similar but you have 2 rows of seats in the B instead of 1 in the Smart.

Where the fuck have you been?

FRStan 02-09-2011 04:08 AM

never thought a b-class can look semi decent!

bcedhk 02-09-2011 05:09 AM

great, more power for FOB Richmond c-lai's to drive around Richmond.

turbomelon 02-09-2011 03:41 PM

I always thought this was just a project built by some mercedes engineers in training. Not a concept or an intended production vehicle, more like a course term project?

you thought right it is just a project by Mercedes engineers. its not going to be produced...there have been rumors of an AMG b-class though but obviously not with this big of an engine.
