Recently swtiched to a Damier cardholder and holy shit, i regret not having used a cardholder earlier on in life.... my life has seriously never been as convienient as it is right now... It has a similar holding capacity, and takes up 1/5 less space in my pocket...

Which cardholder do you have?

I thought you didn't like LV for its quality and design? :troll:

I dunno it seems more like a novelty toy than anything. It's cool for the first little while, but it's not something I'd want to carry around all the time.

Its a danier cardholder, not LV. I actually used to like LV/gucci not too long ago, but my tastes/preferences have changed. I actually have a few pieces myself even, but i know i wont be dropping anymore stacks on these brands for awhile. Who knows though, i might get back to it one day.

Just picked up this Coach wallet for $85us with tax in the outlet across the boarder today. Reg price is $148 and they had a sale 50% off.

You guys know where to get Bottega Veneta locally? I love their wallets and it doesn't stand out like other brands.

I'm a huge BV fan and I can tell you that the only place that sell this brand in Canada is Holt Renfrew, but they only carry a few woman's handbags, no wallets. So you would either have to travel to the states to get them or mrporter.com has a few.

I usually get my BV stuff when I go to HK or NYC in the summer.

My father bought me a LV wallet as a gift. It has the original box and everything BUT it's way too bulky for me. He doesn't have the receipt anymore but do you think the LV store will let me exchange it for a cheaper card holder?

Damn! lucky you. i'm pretty curious as to whether or not LV would have records of your dad's purchase if he paid with a credit card or something

Hey guys, is there a brand that have similiar thinness to LV cardholders? I don't want to spend $300 bucks right now.

Gucci is pretty thin and IIRC was only in the $120 range.

Mine's holding up great and I abuse it. FYI you can hold a max of 3 cards + 2 on the clip, or a wad of about 4-5 bills folded in half on the clip.

coach - $48. might be even cheaper at premium outlets.

i've been wanting to get a cardholder for myself for the longest time but never got around to buying it. i think i'm gonna get one on next pay check!!!

if you guys want cheap cardholders, Danier leather has some pretty good ones. I got mine for $9(on boxing day so I'd assume the price is slightly higher now) and it had everything I needed: card slots, bill slot, id compartment.

Calvin Klein also has pretty good variety for card cases. I remember seeing some having a coin compartment too, whilst keeping that slim shape. Of course, the premium outlets would be the best place to get them.
