Wanna come slap my head then?

I can't speak for everyone but why can't I just buy the wallet I want because I like it and not because I'm using it to impress people?

wow..$500 on a wallet, how shallow can you be that you think you need to impress people with a LV wallet?

Slap my head too.

First off, this is the Fashion&Shopping forum. I'm sure you can go criticizing people who spend $500 on jeans and jackets too.

There's a bit of irony going on here of you judging people who have nice wallets as shallow.

A wallet along with a watch are part of who a man is. Speaking for myself, It's the pride of knowing that you worked to have something nice and authentic. The history of the brand, the material, the craftsmanship. Yes, in the end it's just a wallet. Then why buy a Lacoste wallet when you can get one from Zellers?

I don't judge people who have $50 wallets, so why are you judging me?

I meant I might switch to the Gucci non-leather bifolds. They're around 300, while LV's leathers are around 500 before tax.
Do not bother with a non-leather bifold if thats what you're planning to do. You will encounter the exact same problems. I suggest figuring out what cards you need first and go from there...and move your wallet to front pocket.

yeah, i have to agree. With the size of some wallets, putting it in your front pocket basically means bulking up your jeans so that everyone can see your wallet. For some, the wallets tend to slide closer to your crotch so that every so often you're forced to reach into your pocket or look like your grabbing your crotch to push it back to the side...

its why jacket pockets are the best, i only put my wallets in the front if i anticipate that i will be sitting down for a long time. If i know i'm going to be walking somewhere the wallet stays in the back pocket.

lol heres my dosh whisky.. pics are shitty but the color looks alot better irl.

half the width of my passport holder and twice as thin as my epi haha

i love the inside matte black but i put vinyl on it for shits and giggles.. +5hp, lighter weight and looks better

dont really suggest to do it unless youre really bored, it takes alot of time and its really easy for you to slice your wallet D; edges are really hard to trim. im not even done yet myself and i spent 20 minutes on it. the matte material for the dosh makes it really hard to stick vinyl on

I've had this wallet for probably four years now.
The first year the outer lining came off so they gave me this replacement wallet which was sweet (only after they messed up on the repair).
Now, about four months ago, i've noticed that the colour is coming off.

I was pretty choked because of how much I paid for this wallet. I figured it would last me a long time. It's way past the one year warranty so I guess i'm SOL. I'm just angry because now it looks like a cheap/fake wallet.

also, mine is the older style bifold with the license window which I prefer so I don't even think they make this one anymore..

Maybe its the picture that wont allow me to see the wallet, but the design still looks pretty nice to me and if I saw that in real life I doubt I would question the authenticity of it

forgot about this, so i'll reply now

if you need "fashion" to show what type of "man" you are then go for it....also, if you work and make your own money, then you're right, spend it on what ever you want (i still think a $500 wallet is a supreme waste of money)

but if you're like the majority of guys on this forum who are driving nice cars because they get their money from their daddies, then my comments stand

you may say i'm "jealous", and in part you might be right that i've had to work for everything i've got, but with that come pride.....not just getting everything handed to me and being a useless peice of shit

thats far from truth, based on pricing.

LV is way more expensive than Gucci.

gucci is way more entry level, look at the large bags for guys or women, the LV's will cost double.
