Patriot Signature LX Series 16GB SDHC Flash Memory Card

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=53175&...acture=Patriot

Anyone using this? If so, what card reader do you use to transfer files? None of my card readers will read this card. I am forced to plug in a mini USB into my Nikon to transfer files, which is slower than slow.

Are your card readers SDHC compatible?

If they are and other sdhc cards work in them, i'd stop using this SDHC card since no reviews have accounted for this strange problem

i think older readers have a 2 GB limit on SDHC, not that that matters.

but yeah, make sure your card reader is compatible.

btw, i'm getting 25MB/sec transfer speeds, let me know what you're getting.

I was looking at the same one, just picked up a go pro hd today from someone off rs can't wait to try it out, can't locate my kingmax sdhc i picked up in hk I had for my 60D but it definitely worked with the built in reader on my macbook so I should be safe

Need one that can hopefully record at 720p 60fps 16gb class 10 should be more than enough?

So far no problem. But I believe the read/write speeds are not as fast as Sandisk equivalents for some reason.

^Doesnt SanDisk rate their cards at a sustained rate where everyone else rates it at burst, or something to that effect? (basically SD can sustain it whereas other just hit the mark occassionally)

A class 4 is the minimum for my Sony VG10 so a class 10 is more than sufficient.

Sweet picked up an 8gb patriot class 6 at memory express yesterday works great with the gopro, haggled down to $11.50 lol, I am so cheap :/ Interestingly enough I did some research and gopro actually recommends kingston and Patriot brand SD cards, I hadn't even heard of patriot prior to seeing it at ncix/memory express
