Cheapest body shop to fill in spoiler holes hey guys, just went wingless on my DC a few months back. I was looking for a shop to weld five holes on my hatch, anyone know the approximate price for this? This is the setup for my hatch This is not my car, but it has two holes on one side of the hatch, and three on the other (2 for spoiler, 1 for brake light) http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/c...R/CIMG2913.jpg Anyways let me know! Also a shop around vancouver that can do this fast and cheap! |

^ that, cause if ur gonna fill them in you would have to paint the entire trunk. |

anyone recommend a shop and a price range/ I dont mind painting the whole trunk. |
You might as well source out a cf trunk... Posted via RS Mobile |

CF trunks is not the function I want. Maybe its for someone wanting to lose curbweight or someone who likes that look, but I would prefer factory look over trendy anyday, thanks for the input tho Any ideas on a good reputable shop? |
maybe it'll be cheaper to do the body work yourself and then bring it in to get it painted. You can do it cheap by using jb weld and then filler over that or use fiberglass filler to fill the holes and then regular filler. |
i would recommend you go see Jeff at All Star Wheels on Bullar ave in Burnaby.. He does great body work! |

Use color matched decals about 1 inch wide circles? That way u can revert back if u ever decide to. Posted via RS Mobile |

I've honestly seen people use higher quality vinyl that are decently colormatched, sure they're an eyesore if they're there, but no one really notices without driving that car everyday... cheap + effective. |
Maybe try sourcing out a trunk from a junk yard? Unless you have the special purple colour, it shouldn't be difficult to find a colour match. I can't see it being more than $150 with a DIY cut polish. |
jb weld, smooth with bondo... then wrap with 3M Di-Noc CF wrap |

The hatch opens and closes, heat expands and contracts the metal both or either of these would cause the JB weld to crack around the edges and fall out eventually. Albeit ghetto IMO you might get away with it in a fender but not a door, hatch, hood or roof. |
Vinyl the whole car... |
same i just got my GTO and it came with a huge wing and third brake light now i got a giant hole in the middle of my trunk and like 10 smaller ones on trunk and wide body fenders i need a cheap shop to get it done. |
hit up amex autobody in surrey, they rebuilt my is300 and it looks brand new again, REALLY REALLY reasonable rates just tell em bobby with the black lexus told you |
bump. Looking to remove the spoiler on my 08 Accord Coupe V6. Previous owner installed the OEM spoiler on the car so now I'm rocking 2 spoilers (Deck lid and OEM). Looks kinda funky.. |
