Anyone feel the earthquake?

Did anyone feel the small quake last night?

http://www.news1130.com/news/local/a...he-south-coast

I was sleeping and I woke up felt my bed shake...Was confused at first and thought it was just my imagination

Guess it wasn't. No one else in my family felt it.

what did you guys expect? it will happen soon, just make sure you are prepared.

buddy 02-15-2011 10:00 AM

i slept right through it ...

jmvdesign 02-15-2011 10:13 AM

Didn't feel it as I was still half awake.

Though, I have felt two 6.7 and 7.0 earthquakes before in LA and Philippines before. It's definitely one of the scariest experiences I've had.

MG1 02-15-2011 10:13 AM

Lots of small earthquakes = no big one, so let's have more small ones to relieve the pressure.

Damn it, took this long to get where I am today and now the big one might hit and I lose everything - that would totally suck balls.

Damn you, mother nature..................

Like most old timers, I'm well prepared. Stocked up on bottled water, canned goods, etc. All I need is a good generator.

Not living on the side of a mountain or on a delta. All good.

I guess if the big one hits, I'll have RS withdrawls............

Just like my son. He can sleep through earthquakes. I wouldn't be surprised if I find him snoring away with cinder blocks on top of his head. LOL.

Berzerker 02-15-2011 10:26 AM

I thought I was just having a really good fap session.. turns out it was a quake... It was better than I thought!

Berz out.

$_$ 02-15-2011 10:45 AM

do you guys have earthquake kits? maybe i should start prepping one for my family ...

AzNightmare 02-15-2011 10:49 AM

If the "big one" strikes, the first thing RS members will do is create (and post in) an OFFICIAL EARTHQUAKE thread instead of getting under a desk or something.

Poll question for everyone:

You're lying in bed for the night, an earthquake strikes and you have a split second to react. Whats the first thing you would grab to keep safe?

richmond is on a hot streak for building new highrise condos

twitchyzero 02-15-2011 10:58 AM

it's not a bad idea to learn where the main power switch, gas and water valves are in the house...other than that i'm not really prepared myself.

dachinesedude 02-15-2011 11:05 AM

didnt notice either, around what time?

the last "big" one i remember experiencing here was around 2000-2001, remember that one? the school was swaying back and forth after the quake, that was some intense shit, cant imagine being in a real big one (like 7.0+)
