It's an amazing photo of a GT-R stripped by fire to its shell, but for car enthusiasts it's like a peek through hell's keyhole.

There are two theories for what happened in this crash. The first is that the cars were in separate driving groups and crashed into each other, causing the GT-R to hit the side of the road. Hot exhaust hitting the leaves on the ground set the whole thing ablaze. The second theory is the GTI rear-ended the GT-R, causing it to fly off into the grass.

Neither report indicates injuries to either driver, but photos and video posted to Zerotohundred show the car wasn't so lucky. Here's a hint, though, don't drive in the direction of cars on fire. Their tires tend to explode.

nitrogen is inert nonflammable gas, if it was flammable the hole earth would explode....

the only reason it "pops" cause pressure raises until the tire pops and moves the fire....

from the looks of it, it looks like a head on accident, the gti was going in the direction the camera car's going while the gtr going the opposite direction, they hit each other head on spinning both cars around.

is that necessary dude? some guy just lost his car. regardless of your opinion on the car itself, have some sympathy for the owner. it doesn't even seem like the guy was speeding, it seems like some gtr club just going for a cruise.

how would you feel if you lost your car like this and some guy who didn't like it decided to make a comment like that?

No. I can't assume he was speeding, nor can you assume it wasn't... How you came to that conclusion I seriously have no fucking clue.

I'd prolly feel the need to get another car honestly you know, cuz mine just burnt to the ground and then i'd say "fuck you". But then again everyone is entitled to their opinion right!?!?! Also, I thought only pinto's burst into flame when crashed into:fullofwin:
