I'm sorry to hear what you've been going through. I just had my wifes 98 v6 accord transmission rebuilt at Mr. Transmission and they did a wonderful job. I had it done this past July and haven't had any issues since. But then again a Benz rebuild probably is more complex than a Honda Accord.

Bert's Automotive Transmissions are the only ones I go to for chain tranny shops.
