Nvasion 02-22-2011 07:32 AM

sucks.. sorry to hear.. stupid ass petty thieves.... i live in east vancouver and a bunch of cars got broken into with slim jims in the past 3 weeks and got their personals stolen.

Gridlock 02-22-2011 07:36 AM

That happened to one of my tenants here in New West. Given my gf and I both drive suv's, I'm sure its a matter of time.

Glove 02-22-2011 07:40 AM

surrey?

that shouldv been thread title

taylor192 02-22-2011 07:42 AM

Just add a straight pipe. Since air care only reads the OBD codes for many model years, as long as it doesn't throw a code for no cat, then you'll be fine.

StylinRed 02-22-2011 07:43 AM

ive never heard of people stealing cc's :crazy2: wtf?

Really? n00b.

Especially older CC's, they are full of platinum and other precious metals. Places even buy CC's from older cars even if they are dead.

StylinRed 02-22-2011 07:48 AM

sounds familiar now that you mention it, the plat

But the only person I can get made at is ME. :swear:

I've seen it happen to two customers, in the years I've been working at my shop. Both in Vancouver. Doesn't surprise me too much, since it's not that hard to get to.

They hit my buddie's Tracker on 96th and 192.
Fuckers.

They get $50 for an oem cat, which is going to cost you a lot more to replace.
