well there's auction listings showing 160k all the way to 720k for a 1929 Phantom 1 and if you guys read the links he actually was introduced to the museum heads before his death and he later approached them wanting them to take care of his car when he was gone and he wanted them to extend their museum to include an automotive/etc wing to which he said he would buy them a new building to accommodate this addition; the museum heads later approached him with a site they wanted to purchase and he paid for it (1million$) |
