If you can't go into the water, then you're going to be very limited. One my favorite activities which took up most of my time at the resort was snorkeling in the sea.

I went to Mayan Riviera last August at a 5 star resort and the all inclusive 7 night stay + flight cost me $900.

You're young, since you're still in highschool I highly doubt you have much financial burden.
Do it now while you can afford to do so, timewise and money wise

nope i can swim just not long periods of time in saltwater.. like hours i mean lol

my asian parents dont want me to go now lol.. because the trip is not around $2000 not including excursions they are saying that its not really worth it..

anyways a mini rant
the s-trip directory sucks.. it takes days for them to get back to me with a reply.. i simply asked how much it cost for me and they cant get back to me.. instead they tell me to fill out the form and email it to them. but then the form needs me to fill out the price of the trip = =
i mean i know they have shit to deal with daily but they have shitty service over the phone.. i waited an hour on the phone to have someone answer my call.. and the call was barely 3 minutes lol..

another thing is.. they need my credit card info on the form.. and there is 100% NO REFUND. so if something happens before the trip, i cant cancel my position. im on waiting list anyways..

but i really want to go now lol. thanks guys

Just came back from Cancun last night

I don't know man, if I had 1600 i wouldnt go shopping with it. Clothes and items you can get anywhere anytime, but the experience I just had is worth more than anything.

Getting away and seeing new things, relaxing, all the good things in life packed into a 7 day vacation.

Just go, it's pretty much once in a lifetime, and you're with your friends...and you might not get a second chance when it comes to going on long and far not to mention FUN trips with them...seriously. University, college, full time work. Whatever you/your friends lives will turn out, you won't see them everyday or often like high school. Everyone will start living their own lives, and doing their own things. I suggest you go, just like we talked abt yesterday =) Plus, the girl you like is going. I know who ;]

That sucks that you can't go. Well you can always wait until you reach that point in life where you can do whatever you want, until you are married anyways (but that's another story)

I think grade 12 is a little young to really enjoy Mexico. You'll just get black-out drunk and be hungover half the time since you can't drink here.

WTF? Why did your parents say that all of the sudden? They promised/or at least talked about paying for a part of your trip...that's such a bummer man. Maybe you can go somewhere closer/cheaper with "some" of your friends? Maybe even with the girl you like? Like a 3 day trip or something...but that might be hard because all of you have to be free at the same time =/ Msn me tmr...
