Gorillapod Focus - Suggestion for Head

Hi guys, so I recently found an awesome deal on a brand new Gorillapod Focus without the Ballhead X. So instead of paying $60-70 for the Ballhead X, I'm thinking of purchasing the head from Manfrotto. This way I can use the same plate on my camera's body without switching around.

I also currently use a 190CXPro3 with 486RC2.

Looking online, the 486RC2 would be at least $80-100. Upon searching Manfrotto's website, it looks like they introduced a new 054 Mag Ball head dedicated to the 190 carbon fibre tripods. The 054 Mag Ball Head Q2 use the same 200PL-14 plate.

Should I:
a) Just purchase a second 486RC2 (or similar like the 496...etc)
or
b) Spend twice the amount (appx. $195) and get the 054 Q2 for my tripod, and use my current 486RC2 on my Focus?
