| Questions for upcoming photoshoot
First off I'm gonna mention the gear that I'm going to be using.
Nikon D90 w/ Nikkor 50mm F/1.4 or Nikkor 35mm F/1.8
Yonguno YN560 and Yonguno YN460-II
Yonguno RF-602TX Transmitter
Yonguno RF-602RX Receiver.
My cousins and I have this photoshoot that we are gonna be doing this coming weekend. I just recently got umbrellas, flash holders, etc... I was wondering how would I need setup my umbrella stands for a good shot? We will be shooting in a pretty open living room. This is going to my first time using these umbrellas.
Another question:
Last photoshoot I was the YN560 as a slave flash. For some reason a few pictures were turning out orange kinda of color. I tried adjusting the white balance and I couldn't get it to its original colors. Couldn't be the internal lighting in the living room? Or my on camera settings was off?

werd. the v5's seem awesome. The guy at gadgetinfinity assured me that they work with the YN strobes, and an update today confirming that they work with the di866. http://www.flickr.com/groups/strobis...7626183761590/
kinda want to wait for the phottix helios and see how they are.

You're getting orange color because your camera is white balancing the flash color. Since your ambient light temperature is different, you are mixing 2 color temperatures together.
This is the correct link you should read from http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/03...o-correct.html |

you can go creative and go to fabricana to make some diy back drop. using fabric should be the cheapest way to go.
btw, the solution to orange toned picture is use a orange gel for your flash so to produce a unify colour with your ambient light, then correct the whole white balance in lightroom/photoshop~
