That's too bad. When I worked nights I got a black out blanket thing that we put up over the blinds (it just attached to the railing the blinds came off of, you can even do this with a light blanket) and it worked a lot better than masks.
Your skin senses sun light even if your eyes don't. So this can interfere with your sleep even if your eyes are covered and prevent melatonin production and proper sleep cycling.
