Canon 40D Live View problem

I get these weird blue streaks with the lense cap on AND off, in well lit or dark environments. I can take a picture using Live View, but these streaks do not appear in the photographs. I use a program called EOS Camera Movie Recorder, and these blue streaks do appear in the videos I take with live view on.

Does anyone know whats up?

Here's a pic:

Thanks in advance.

Try resetting your camera to default settings. That would be my first step

You sure it's the camera body instead of the software?
