| Olympic Merchandise
I saw an ad in a flyer a couple weeks ago where they were advertising Olympic merchandise.
I can't recall the location. Does anyone have the address for it? I'm looking for a sweater for someone.

It's call Great Northern Gift...although they kinda renamed themself to "17 hours" now cause they only open for 17 hours on the weekend. http://www.17hours.ca/index.php
6741 Cariboo Rd
Burnaby, BC
and
8410 Ontario St
Vancouver , BC
It's been over a year since that warehouse started selling / liquidating their assets. And to date, they STILL have crap load of inventory left.

It's close by, so my mom goes every Saturday after work to pick one up. Why not? You can make a set, better than paying for it!

Two, maybe three weeks ago they gave a way a cheesy DVD and luggage tags.
They send me e-mails every week with news. Just sign up on their website http://www.17hours.ca/index.php
Looks like their Olympic stuff is selling out............. 'bout time.

Been making a trip every weekend for a month now. Yeah someone ordered WAY too much Olympic merchandise. They're giving away free stuffed toys every weekend. Good for regifting, but kinda useless after you get your first 5.
Don't bother with the DVD. It's <10 minutes of footage. Waste of gas. |

Is the olympic store still at YVR? Last time I was there, there was a lot of paralympic pins on the rack. Below those pins were lots and lots of Martin Brodeur pins... lol This was back in May.

I was there last weekend and they were giving out a 7.5" quatchi plush. This couple that was there tried asking for another free plush haha i guess they didn't even want to spend 2.50 for another one. Quote:

Boxed set of 7.5" guys are $5/set
Single 7.5" ones are $1.50
Single plush 4.5" keychains are $1 (only Mukmuk and Quatchi)
Plush keychains are $6/set
Forgot how much the medium and large ones are, but I think $3 and $5 each respectively.
They are open Fridays, but don't give anything out on Fridays. Plush giveaways are Saturdays/Sundays.
