Kitchen shears help a lot too if you want to do the "slit legs in half" thing.

I had king crab 3 times in the past 2 weeks or so... Getting kinda sick of it! :)

How do you guys eat the head/shell when it comes on the garlic-steamed plate? I pick off some of the meat in the inside, but there's a clear film/membrane that I peel off first. Is that all?

My son with a king crab yesterday:

When eaten at a restaurant, 95% of the time the head will be used to act as the fried/baked noodle/rice's container. Not sure about the ones that prepare it at home themselves though...

Where is the best place to get king crab right now at a reasonable price?

I thought they just bring the garlic-steamed head/shell back into the kitchen and bake the rice after... Granted, I rarely have the baked rice course so I could be wrong.

wtf? where did the spot prawn thread go!?

Bigrig is already banned.

Just had another 1 lb today @ $9.99, anyone thinks this season's prawns have gotten smaller? still very tasty, just not big enough.

When I went to Steveston last weekend they did look smaller, but I had some for dinner tonight that was from T&T and most were medium sized, a few large, and a few small.
