lol im viet. my dad and i run a gardening business and when i tell people what i do, theyre quick to assume its *snip snip* kind of "gardening". lol no one believes we own a legit business.

This. Not an exact science but works well enough in general:

True rich people are usually frugal as fuck and usually can be sometimes difficult to deal with. The pretend-rich people are usually the people who can't shut up about their wealth and looks for every excuse to bring it up in a convo.

Do you have an older and a younger bother? Or a brother of 3?

Alot of Viets actually buy shit with friends, then return them after. Sometimes you wont see them with the clothes they bought at all.

Or they just own grow ops and claim EI and Welfare to pay for thier bills, while doing more shit on the side.


But in my experience, my friends Dad actually owned a legit business from what I remember. Thier money makes sense. But with Viet people, you can usually tell the difference between the DD families from the Legit ones.
