could this be the last year to do this?

whitev70r 11-05-2022 10:08 PM

^ said that 3 yrs ago. I think we're still waiting for WA to do away with this. Then we will follow.

Honestly, does anyone really notice the difference anymore? Now that all our electronics changes it automatically. You wake up and see ... oh it's 7:30 am, regular morning alarm ... time to get up.

I certainly notice it when I feel like killing myself after the sun going down at 3pm for a month.

not my microwave
not my oven
not my grandfather clock
not my coffee machine

my alarm clock does change automatically, but it changes back in October, to the old pre-2007 date.

It's always the stove and microwave that throws me off because I use them for reference from time to time and they give me conflicting information from my cell and computer.

lilaznviper 11-06-2022 01:39 PM

gave up setting the clocks on the stove and microwave. I just leave them blinking at 12:00 or nothing.

The good: I can watch wrestling and prime time football at 9am now instead of 8am

The bad: If I want to watch live 1pm games, they start at 2am now. Still worth
