Majin, in your case you should pay it. It's not worth the 5+ years of shit credit over $1700. In my case the amount was negligible. I was unaware of the debt until I had a credit check done for something. It was worth it to wait a few months and have it stat barred then to pay it and have it show up on my record. By the time it went to CBV I couldn't pay the original company I owed it to. |

^It is your own responsibility to drop the classes manually. Someone else who may have needed the class couldn't get it because you held on to the spot. Some people don't pay for well-over the tuition dead-line, the system does not know if your still in the class, it assumes you are, and that you will be making a late payment (with interest). By the time they find out you aren't in the class, its too late for another person to sign up for the course. |
cbv is after me from health canada lol thing is my income wasent enough for that year and health canada screwed up and im not suppose to pay yet they fucked up and now CBV is after me preety gay |

try contacting the school instead of the collection agency. I sent you a pm. |
first of all it is DEBT NOT DEBIT. Secondly, you obviously deserved the ticket, and you purposely didn't pay it thinking you would not get caught since you THOUGHT it wouldn't affect ICBC. I don't know what to say except you have very little integrity and accountability. |
same thing happened to me, but I was still able to renew my insurance. I think its because its now out of ICBC's hands and is being dealt by a collections company. Oh wells. Just like private company parking tickets. I never paid them, and my credit was never affected. After a few phone calls they just stopped. |
how many times can these collection companies put in your credit history? is it only once per collection or once every year??? |
is credit only affected if you get a loan or also ticket type stuff? dumbass is callin me early in morning and around 2-3 times a day. iuno the rules n regulations of what they can do. |
What happens if you are given a skytrain ticket without ID on you? |

Careful of some collection scams going on, some people just get scared of collections and pay it off not checking the company at all |

Aro Inc has been leaving me voice mails. I have 1 translink ticket but its not under my legal name nor do they have my drivers license number. Do these guys have power to hurt my credit score? The only info they have is my non-legal English name, address and phone number. Posted via RS Mobile |
I can't really help you, other than, I heard translink is working with ICBC, in that if the bill isn't paid, you can't renew/get insurance. Try and get the fine reduced? I think you lost your chance at disputing. Not sure if collectors will budge though, since the amount collected = commission and they know they have people hooked lined sinkered in paying. |
Th funny thing is I went I ICBC to check if theres any fine under my driver license and there wasnt anything. No restrictions on renewing or anything. I didn't produce ID to the translink ticketer, and I gave him my English name which isn't my legal name on my ID's. I'm Just wondering if they can hurt my credit score with just name, address and number. Posted via RS Mobile |

cant recall if there's a limit on times a day ah here read through this on what they're not allowed to do http://www.bclaws.ca/EPLibraries/bcl...2_09.xml#part7 here's a simpler rundown http://www.consumerprotectionbc.ca/c...sponsibilities |
lol, you didn't give them your legal name yet you gave them your real address and and real phone number? or simply pay the ticket and get it all over with since you admit to having that 1 ticket. i mean, you were caught red handed without paying the fare in the first place, and you gambled. you lost. |

So what exactly is your point? :failed: |
So if you weren't going to lie about it, why not just pay up? |
