only just watched the video
i didnt see anything really wrong with it.. (she's just ur typical blonde)
and when she mentioned the tsunami she even said that its something important and emotional so she understands but do it in an acceptable place
since emotional issues are usually loud/distracting may seem inconsiderate but it IS the library after all

Am I the only asian here that thinks this girl makes some very true points?
In my experiences, asians amoung any other ethnicity are loud and ill mannered. (Excludes places where alcohol is served, as white people are just crazy, lol). Anyways, asians are rude in my experience.
They do pick up their cell phones in the library and they do feel the need to talk in a silent study space. These are my experiences at UBC, a heavily populated asian population. It's the truth.
She is not racist, she's merely making an observation. Now, her comment on the food is irrelevant, but asians are ill mannered, it's just our culture. Example, go to an average chinese restaurant, the staff is generally rude and not friendly. That's just the way it is. The setting is loud etc. What bugs me the most, are chompers. People who chew with their mouths open. And in my experience the majority of these people are asians.
This girls is probably not going about expressing her intent correctly, but her underlying message is fairly accurate. Posted via RS Mobile

Exactly. It's the manner in which she expresses these true points. The difference between her and a comedian like Russel Peters is that she's expressing it in a very derogatory manner as opposed to a harmless joke.
I remember going to T&T as a kid with my mom and thought "why is the meat lady yelling at my mom?!?" and why is my mom acting like it's normal!?...."why is my mom yellin back?!?" Posted via RS Mobile
wtf, no offense to white people on here
but white people have more manners than asians?
when you racists fucks imitates and makes fun of people in public
just to even add on, my brothers white friends dont even know to put away the dishes after a fucking meal in my house
and they dont even throw away garbage AND mother fucking take off their shoes
why am i mad?
cause i grew up in a Asian family WITH manners
but id bang her no doubt
for the sake of this post im gonna use the term white people in replacement of americans/canadians. if you're american/canadianized even if you're from another country you're white for the sake of this post. congrats!
different types of mannerisms.
white people are more considerate in a way. here they hold doors for you and say "thank you". in asia theres no such consideration as people claim they have no time for that sort of thing. also white people are much more likely to help a stranger in distress, while in asia they tend to follow the "mind your own business" rule. asians push and shove and spit and talk loud in public, and dont respect personal space. when you go to a casino and watch a table game, some old asian grandpa is bound to squeeze in front of you to watch even when theres no such space to do so. its more of a selfish mentality.
and i agree with her that asians tend to be inconsiderate in study areas and socialize near people trying to concentrate.
i could probably list tons of things white people do as well but thats another post.

Are you kidding me? You don't think comedians get flack for their so called harmless joke? Why don't you watch this clip:
As for the UCLA chick, it's only derogatory because that's how you want to interpret it (just like the lady in the above clip chose to interpret the joke). Yes she made an observation about mannerisms she found a nuisance (which even Chinese people admit has a degree of truth in it) but never did she imply that Asian people are beneath her or 2nd class citizens.
IMO, I think her rant rubs people the wrong way because it's expressed in a "whiny" manner; but since her topic involves race, people are quick to throw the "racist" card.
haha you should watch the video of the minvan full of blondes.. one of them has even bigger Tits and can see it better
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsrxQ72baOw
Taken Off the NSFW section.. ENJOY!! its worth double posting this video!
man i think i would get KO'ed by those tits if it hit me
oh yes, I watched this 9x over to fulfill the required daily dosage.

her rant rubbed people the wrong way cuz she tried to imitate how asians talk (ching chong ching), which is not even close any asian language i know of
if she left that part out i think it wouldnt have been as bad imo
mind you i didnt find this video offense at all, i love white ppl ranting bout asians, we taking over the world they just mad

I know what you're saying but it really depends on how you want to interpret it.
Kind of like, if I were to rant about how annoying teeny bopper talk is and imitate they're "so I was like... and she was like... and then we were like... ummm yeah... whateverrrrrr"
Or if I were to rant about people who speak only in hip hop and imitate them to show my nuisance (in a discussion with another) like: "yo whaddup whaddup, ya feel me, ya heard"
Yes she was mimicing a chinese accent to display to visually or auditoraly convey what about her observation she found annoying, but like I said, none of her sentiments were actually degrading (as in like I said earlier, she wasn't acting as if asian people were beneath her or 2nd class citizens).

Actually, mimicking the chinese accent with the stereotypical "ching chong ting tong pang ping..." is racist itself. Even then, I don't think people took it to heart with that comment
What bothered me was when she was saying "her American manners".. or .. "here in America...". As if Americans who have Asian ancestry are not Americans.

Asian people in general are some of the most ignorant & racist people you'll ever meet.
The other day I was at costco, white lady was preparing samples of pizza. Old asian lady reaches in and takes a piece while white lady was STILL cutting it. Worker looked at her and just shoke her head.
I'm asian and was embarrased. Theirs a small percentage of asain people that ruin it for the rest of us.
