seeing the rat heart beat in the glass chamber and the lungs breathing was pretty crazy...I wonder how costly the whole process is...nothing more sad then not being able to get an organ donor and not being able to afford to get one made... but hey...at least the option might be out there in the near future
^ this "scaffolding" can be from anything though, things as simple as an ear can be made synthetically, more complex parts such as hearts or lungs can be taken from someother animal (or maybe one day they will just have a generic "mold" everyone can use.
Amazing stuff, though it scares me because I know one day, "Designer" organs will be sold.

That's amazing.
Just hope the drug companies don't screw with the process or hold it back.
They've got a lot of money coming in from the dying and those on continued meds.
