after repeated bullying, your bound to crack, it just so happens it was a little scrawny kid that got it... the video footage clearly shows that the scrawny kid started it, so if something did happen to him, i doubt the big boy would be at fault, he was merely defending himself and it shows it when the other kid stepped in, the big boy left... he has no intentions whatsoever to fight...

Yea I don't know. A little on the fence about this. It's not that he retaliated and fought back...it's that he almost killed the kid.

Well, that's a little different thought isn't it.

Fat kid did not start it. He only fought back and as clearly seen, he was willing to walk away rather than to attack the bully and punishing him. The fat kid's action were not of retaliation, but rather "I don't need to take this, stop it, you're making a bad decision here".

He should not be blamed that the bully is a little bitch and can't take what he dished out. If he almost killed the kid, it was only within reasonable action and that the other kid is just a wimp and should not have gotten into said situation in the first place.

the bullys mom speaks out and shockingly she didn't blame society or the other kid lol. I kinda understand what she means with the way things goes viral it going to be hard for either kid to move on from this but that how it is these days with everyone with a camera or a phone with a camera.

The fact is the big guy didn't severely hurt the little kid. So everything is what if.

If the little kid got severely hurt this would be a totally different story. The big kid could probably get charged, but he's a minor so I don't know how bad the sentence would be.

At the end of the day, the big kid had every right (I believe), though, he still shouldn't have done that. But, I understand why the big guy lost it. He's probably been bullied all his life. Kids are mean.

I wasn't a bully, but I remember I've done and said some pretty nasty things when I was a kid and wish I could go back and undo those things. I've also let some of my friends bully other kids and I just sat back, watched and laughed. I feel really bad for that.

How about if these were two older teenagers in an inner city school in the states. Suppose they are similar built, and one was harassing the other as per this video as well. Instead of a zangief type body slam, the 2nd kid's reaction could very well be going to his gang and do some damage to the kid or shoot the kid.

From my point of view, if you want to start shit, be prepared for the consequence. Common sense. Do not jump in front of a train if you want to live. Do not INITIATE a fight and expect to not face the possibilities of being beaten up.


Focusing on this video, it was obvious that the fat kid did not want to fight. The person taking the video could have very well been the bully's friends - expecting some damage to be done to the bully's target. Lo' and behold, the fat kid defended himself. Perhaps having the female classmate around gave him the will power to defend himself;)

I'm not surprised. Her kid fucked up and she knows it. It actually sounds like she took it easy on him when she said, "Well, I'd like hime to apologize."

So let me get this straight. The bully got suspended for 21 days and the big kid got 4? I can sort of understand where the school is coming from but if it were up to me, I would've suspended the big kid and the kid with the camera for a few days and expelled the bully.
