FS: 1993 Honda Civic Coupe (EJ2) - JDM B18C

SOLD!

FS: 1993 JDM B18C Honda Civic Coupe (EJ2)

I’m getting too old for modifying and attending to the maintenance needs of relatively “older” generation cars and it’s time for a new car. The car has been treated well in its entire life; it is absolutely clean, tastefully modified, and I will inevitably be sad to see her go. To give a brief excerpt of the background and summary of the car: I received the car in 2007 from my Uncle which he purchased brand new in 1993 from a Honda dealership, and if I remember correctly, in Coquitlam. He is a painstakingly meticulous and conscientious person and always had the car serviced by Honda and participated in every scheduled appointment requested by the dealership; this had occurred and been a routine in the 13 years he owned it. Before I took over the car in 2007, he had spent a few thousand dollars at Honda in assuring that the car was up to his standards and that it was absolutely safe. I want to stress to the potential buyer that you are not only purchasing the car itself, but a car with an outstanding maintenance background, treatment, and history in general. Just a few general specifications and information about the car:

- 1993 Honda Civic Coupe DX
- Colour: Black; interior: Grey
- Clean title with exception to a few minor accidents
- Body currently has 275 XXX KMs
- JDM B18C motor/ transmission has approximately 135 XXX KMs

Marine Way
- Motor does not leak any oil
- Motor oil always changed every 5000 KM with full synthetic (Royal Purple)
- Maintenance has always been done regularly, Chevron premium always used
- Second owner, non-smoker, always driven respectfully

The following below is what I have done to the car since 2007 (all parts are of course installed unless stated otherwise and approximate KMs are given)

The car was originally an automatic car; I brought the car to my friends at AJR in the summer of 2008 and performed a diagnostics check and professionally swapped in a 1994 JDM B18C (GSR) motor in her. The motor was purchased from a very reputable shop called “JDM Source” located in Calgary and they did a compression test which resulted with a compression of 200+ PSI across all four cylinders. I had AJR confirm these results by redoing another compression test upon arrival in their garage which did confirm it. For the purpose of this post/advertisement, I just did another compression test and the results are: Cylinder 1; 230 PSI, Cylinder 2; 240 PSI, Cylinder 3; 240 PSI, Cylinder 4; 240 PSI. Also, the motor and transmission was maintained before swapping it in, the following below is the engine’s specifications and what had been done/ replaced before swapping it in:

- JDM B18C (GSR) 1994 Full Swap
- Motor, Transmission (hydraulic), Engine Wiring Harness (OBD1)
- ECU (P72 OBD1)
- Hasport EG Transmission Mount
- Timing belt and water pump replaced
- Sparkplugs (NGK platinum) replaced (recently replaced again)
- OEM fuel filter
- Reconditioned main relay
- Valve lash adjustment (recently performed again)
- Axels (under 2,000 KM)
- 95 GSR Integra clutch petal
- 92-95 Honda Civic 5-speed brake and gas pedal assemblies
- OEM Clutch master cylinder reservoir
- OEM Slave cylinder
- OEM clutch hard-line piping
- T1R Short Ram (filter recently replaced again)
- OEM clutch interlock switch
- Valve cover gasket

I’m a very conscientious person myself and almost everything that has been done to the car has been recorded in writing and by photograph (I believe there are 455 pictures) which will be provided to the buyer. Also, used OEM rear bumper, complete stock interior, steelies with tires, and all other parts I have from and for the car will be provided.

Negatives:
- approximately two 1 inch spots of rust on the driver side rear quarter panel (passenger
side has no rust)
- clutch is approaching the end of its life and will need to be replaced soon
- toonie shape and size crack in passenger side lower corner of windshield
- scratches and dings here and there
- front and rear bumpers are flat black (I personally don’t mind this)

There will be absolutely no part outs (including non-installed parts), I cannot stress this enough. $6,000; U2U/ PM, call, or text me at 604-780-0636 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting$$$$$$$$$$$$$$604-780-0636$$$$$$end_of_the_skype_highlighting. The price is relatively firm. Thank you!
