we have not changed from our mustang dyno which reads approx 25% off crank. from what we have seen in the past with customers who have also tested on a dynojet, there is approx 15% difference between the dyno results. a dynojets typically read 10-12% off crank hp.

for example, if your car is rated at 100 crank hp, it would make approx 75whp on our mustang dyno, or approx 85-90whp on a dynojet

65 bucks is kinda steep no?

when you can just rent a dyno for a full hour for 100 bucks

ilvtofu 03-17-2011 08:38 AM

Interested in lowest WHP

hey OP i was there with Alex and the NiClub guys last month when he was tuning his 370z, I just wanted to ask you guys if that road leading to your shop has been paved yet, that night i went there were chunks of pavement rock sticking inches up above the ground not to mention the gravel road...
i'd like to come but no way i can make it through that again so i'm hoping they finished repaving it

boatcaptain 03-17-2011 10:19 AM

due the street construction on broadway, the entrance has a small hump but its very do-able for most lowered cars. just approach on an angle. the constuction people have been adding gravel almost daily to make it better and this shouldnt be much of a problem hopefully.... it may even be changed/paved by april 2.

ilvtofu 03-17-2011 12:53 PM

G-specs car is not your average lowered car, according to a member on RS it's "HELLA VIP STYLE" :troll:

Anyways down for lowest whp :fullofwin:

seekerbeta 03-17-2011 01:55 PM

Their dyno really is the heartbreaker dyno.. Not that it matters though, because if you're doing any real tuning, you would only care about relative results.

However, to give you an idea last year, a stock C63 dyno'd at 314rwhp, since it's rated at 451hp, that's about 69.6%.

My stock 8 year old M5 dyno'd at 272rwhp, stock rating is 394hp, which is about 69.0%

Death2Theft 03-17-2011 06:20 PM

Sorry buddy, TypeRnammer has u all beat.
