Just thought I'd share this with you guys since it's for a great cause and it seems like there's a few Video DSLR shooters. Philip bloom has be infamous for throwing fundraisers for recent disasters, ie; Australian flood, New Zealand earthquake. Both these fundraisers were for a great cause and came with excellent prizes as encouragement.
Last time, Rode gave out 10 Video Mic Pros and Eric Kessler/Philip Bloom gave out the "Philip Bloom Signature dolly" cool stuff!
This time for Japan's recent earthquake, the prizes include viewfinders from Zacuto, Letus Direct, EVF from Cineroid, Sigular Software and last but not least a Kessler Crane head and full oracle kit (it's worth 2 grand!).
Edit: To add to the above list, Philip is also donating his 64GB iPAD 3G!!!!
So this would be a great opportunity to help out Japan and possibly win yourself some awesome gear for your DSLR.
