speaking of gloves, how do you guys personally wash it? I know many people have different ways and I want to know what is the best since i just bought a pair.

nns 04-03-2011 06:23 AM

I just throw mine in with the rest of the laundry.

well i'll just throw this in there with the nay sayers of chalk. i'm a total believer in chalk. keeps the hands dry and improves grip. sure some places don't allow it (including the gym i train at) but they can make exceptions as long as you're responsible with it. eg. wiping off the plates and bar of any residue (i bring a towel just for that purpose) if the problem is sweaty hands, well they're only going to sweat more in gloves and make training that much more uncomfortable. never under-estimate the benefit of improving your grip. chalk helps and will help you develope grip, control, and staying tight which will ultimately lead to increased strength and gains. you can buy chalk at most gnc stores for 5 bucks for a block - which will last you probably a year

I had a pair of Nike gloves that tore in 3 months. My last pair of Harbinger gloves lasted me 4 years

im happy with my nike gloves. Bought them last week after denying gloves for the last year or so. I stayed away from gloves for the longest time because i wasn't happy with the harbingers (just found them too thick near the palm).

Just go to sportchek and strap on each glove they have and grab their weights, feel them out. Took me 20 minutes to go through gloves there and test them out. In the end, I am more than happy with my $40 Nike.
