how old is the car?
could be oxidization in clear coat or some etching. Does it feel textured?

I use this stuff...
Theres 3 Phases...oxidations, swirls remover, carnuba gold wax.

Use the 1st Phase to get rid the stuff you have on the car. Theres no need to use 2nd or 3rd unless mandatory.

Find them locally at Canadian Tire.

Good luck!!

mmm yeah probably just some sort of etching on the clear coat if it does not look like its on top of the clear coat.

before you go to that 1st phase mother's cleaner, do use a clay bar first to get rid of surface contamination. Proper procedure + preparations = important.
as long as its not etching, claybar will be remove it, just a lot of elbow grease.

no matter what i do, it won't come off argh. rubbing compound, cleaners, haven't claybarred it yet though.no texture to it, it feels like part of the paint, someone suggested that it looks like possibly road hazard that splashed onto the paint and ate into it (it does look like splash pattern).. going to take it to dealership anyways becuz i'm under platinum paint protection program, it should be covered hopefully.

I think it's oxidation, my Z31 had stuff like that, I had claybarred the car and waxed it and it was nice and smooth, but yeah few months down the road I see some rust on the fender

yeah bring it over to them and see if they'll fix it else I could always give it a go if you're in Richmond.

still don't know what the spots are, definitely not rail dust^ but fixed! used heavy duty compound, spent 5 minutes on each spot, give it a workout but not too hard because it'll take off the clearcoat..waxed, done!

kyoshiro, do you do detailing work on the side?
