[Automotive Photomeet V2- Saturday April 9th]

We had an awesome turnout last photomeet and a lot of people wondering when the next one will be.

Date:Saturday April 9th.
Time: 2PM-Whenever
Meet: Queensborough Tim Horton's

Just some basic etiquette regarding the Photo-meet:

-Dont drive like an asshole. We're rolling around as a group and representing REVScene to some extent. Follow traffic rules.

-Do not block traffic. We'll be taking up public roads. Try your best to park out of traffic.

-Be mindful of traffic when shooting! You may be focused on you viewfinder, but also be aware that there are moving cars around you. Several guys got pretty close to moving traffic last time. Mind yourself and mind others. Give other guys a heads up if you see a car coming.

OVER 30 people signed up this time so its going to be a huge group. Depending on how we set up and what we plan to do, not all cars are going to get the spotlight.
Its best to bring your own equipment and experiment. Ask the pros for tips.

Its pretty close to the beginning of exams for students so lets start a list to see whos interested?
According to long-longterm forecast, its going to be sunny.

Location/Route (Lets use the one we scouted last time, but bailed due to rain.):

Here's some locations we were thinking, along this road is pretty quiet. There's a railyard next to it so it may make for an interesting backdrop

we found an industrial area near the north end of no 6 road that could be interesting but google maps didn't map out those side streets

Im getting my alignment and height adjustment done right now as im typing this so the car is gonna be even lower and more agressive looking for the next shoot...

And the weather should be nicer this time around so no more dirty cars and overcast clouds giving bad lighting, count me in guys !

I wouldn't mind coming out and meeting everyone though my car is falling apart. literally the front bumper is about to come off.

i dun really got a car to shoot, but i really want to learn how to take pixx with the pros.. so if i am welcomed.. i would love to come..

i have work saturdays too :( seems like some people cant do saturday..any way we can change it to sunday?

I'll be down for sat or sun, preferably sat...
Evo should be completely back to summer mode by then.

Somebody suggest more locations. The locations Bill and I have in mind are pretty much on public roads. If we're gonna have a big turnout, we might need more locations. :)
