The story of the monumental life and tragic death of legendary Brazilian motor-racing Champion, Ayrton Senna. Spanning the decade from his arrival in Formula One in the mid 80's, the film follows Senna's struggles both on track against his nemesis, French World Champion Alain Prost, and off it, against the politics which infest the sport. Sublime, spiritual yet, on occasion, ruthless - Senna conquers and transcends Formula One to become a global superstar. Privately, he is humble, almost shy, and fiercely patriotic, donating millions to his native Brasil and contemplating a life beyond motor-racing. Yet he is struck down in his prime on the blackest weekend in the history of the sport, watched live on television by 300 million people. Years on he is revered in Formula One as the greatest motor racing driver of all time - and in Brasil as a Saint.

So the piratebay 8gb link has no subs? Already watched the youtube one, would watch again if I could understand the other half of the movie which I suspect is in french/portegeuse.

!Kodamu 03-27-2011 11:18 PM

I'm just gonna wait till it is release here in the theaters

StylinRed 03-28-2011 02:26 AM

why would it be in theatres here? its already available on Blu-Ray

Senna is awesome and all but i find it hilarious that they praise him for his aggressive, crash inducing style, yet they bring out the pitchforks and torches on Schumi when he's never even pulled half as crazy shit

get the blu its $$

!Kodamu 03-28-2011 03:10 AM

Theater would be the full english version. It won the sundance award. Some US cities are already showing it.

Death2Theft 03-28-2011 07:12 AM

The BR 8gig version doesn't have subs as far as I can tell.

ncrx 03-28-2011 05:46 PM

TOPEC 03-28-2011 07:24 PM

u definitely need subs to watch this, yes the portuguese version is mostly in english, BUT the race commentaries and news reports r in portuguese which means u only get half of the movie.

dark0821 03-28-2011 08:00 PM

thanks for the subs hehehe

Death2Theft 03-28-2011 08:26 PM

Anyone know if the timing on the 8gig subtitles are better than the 2.9g?

dark0821 03-29-2011 09:30 AM

the 8GB is the extended 3 hour version, while the 2.9GB is the 1hour34min version

StylinRed 03-29-2011 09:41 AM

if ur gonna dl the 8gig u may as well download the full bluray (24gigs) to get the full exp :D

Death2Theft 03-29-2011 03:40 PM
