Canucks Playoffs tickets go on sale this weekend

Just thought I'd post this up again as some people don't check the Canucks thread that often.

Canucks playoff tickets for the first round home games will go on sale on Saturday starting 10 a.m.

Fans can purchase tickets online at ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 1-855-523-6800.

Tickets left over will be available at the Rogers Arena box office on April 4.

A maximum of six tickets per game is allowed for each household. Prices start at $90.

Thanks for Telling the world. So hard to get tickets now with the amount of traffic on ticketmaster.

Blame Metro for telling the world, not me :troll:

Hondaracer 03-28-2011 01:55 PM

people who read metro cant afford playoff tickets!

:troll:

^the statement is half true. HAHA.

honestly, the amount of sacrifice just to go to a playoff game is pretty bad.
Of course, if you know how the ticketing system works, then like last year, CH28 and I managed to score tickets at face value fairly easy through ticketmaster.

People overplay the "tickets go on sale date" anyways.

AzNightmare 03-29-2011 12:22 AM

I never gone before to a playoff game before.
What are the typical price ranges for tickets?
Like from the worst seat possible, to a decent seat?
(Not interested in front row or anything like that)

Tim Budong 03-29-2011 12:23 AM

I think i paid 120 per for rnd1 upperbowl..CH28 might remember.

I would but I won't be able to afford the $600+ for a pair if I was lucky enough to get some upper bowl through ticketmaster. It's round one or bust. :)

Hondaracer 03-29-2011 08:06 AM

I've got tickets to game 7 of the cup finals, hopefully it goes that far :)

AzNightmare 03-29-2011 09:28 AM

^ how much was that?

Hondaracer 03-29-2011 09:39 AM

Face value on them is like 375 per for lower bowl I think

They are just part of the seasons package, they give you ever pontential game, I ended up with game 7 and game 1 of first series

I'll be trying my luck for some upper bowl tix. Gl to all.

winson604 03-29-2011 10:43 AM

I got 1 game per round already too as I do every year with my Ice Pack and it always breaks my heart I can't use the Conference Final and Cup Final tickets =\

trd2343 03-29-2011 10:55 AM

A bit off topic, what's the best way to ensure that I can get tickets to the NBA Finals? I'm taking my dad to one this year, and frankly, I've never been to this type of event before, so I don't know how to prepare myself so I will be able to get tickets in time.

In general, which are the minimum level of seats one should get to make the experience to going to a game worthwhile?

Wth.. I thought if you are a seasons holder that you get the entire playoffs.

Only the icepacks/half seasons share with the other icepack/halfseason holders.

I think Honda is sharing with people and he ended up with those games.

Wait, so season ticket holders don't automatically get dibs on playoff games?

let's say you have sec 100 row 10 seat 10-11 for the whole season, don't you also get first dibs on the same seats for every playoff game?

if no, NICE! I will camp on TM this Saturday... since section 322-324 are pretty much all taken up by season ticket holders.

I would imagine ticket exchange or ticket master.

if it's in LA, then GG. The all-star game starts at $500 per ticket for crappy corner ceiling seats. If it's in San Antoino... then I don't know.

Season ticket holders do have dibs on all playoff games but they have a choice on whether they want to buy them all or buy none.

I'm an Icepack holder and I get 1 game per round mixed with Home games 1-4. I also had a choice of whether I wanted to buy all or none. If I remember correctly this year I got Round 1 Home Game 1, Round 2 Home Game 3, Round 3 Home Game 4, Round 4 Home Game 2

vafanculo 03-29-2011 03:56 PM

I hate how they jack up the price of tickets per playoff round..Fan Loyalty my ass..

Season ticket holders have 3 options:
1. pay as we play
2. pay in full
3. pass on the playoffs.

So if I were to pick option 3, I would assume the seats would go into the ticketmaster pool for sale. I would be kicking myself if I picked the 3rd option. Funny you said section 322-324, my seats are right in there.

yea, we share a seasons ticket pair as well as a couple ice packs, so kinda get whatever we get

as has been said, full season ticket holders get a package that contains every game that could possibly happen

Why would anyone pick option 3? If you are in for the entire regular season... might as well get the playoff tickets at a discounted price. I would assume there's a price difference between 1 and 2.

Yes, sec 322-324 and sec 307-309 in the rows 1-8 are best seats for the value. :fullofwin:
